Our kick-off for the new round of our scholarship programme took place on 23.05.2024 at Stadtwirtschaft Chemnitz. The five applicants presented their ideas to the jury.
At the beginning, our scholarship holder Josef talked about his experiences from the last round of the programme. As he joined later last year, his start-up idea ‘U Brambory’ will still have the opportunity to take part in the scholarship programme in this round if necessary. With his shop, he wants to create a ‘third space’ where international people in particular can meet in Chemnitz.
The scholarship holders then presented their ideas in short pitches. After the pitches, the jury had the opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions. This year’s jury consisted of 9 representatives from business, culture, research and civil society. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them once again for their expertise and assessment!
During the eight-month scholarship, the future founders not only receive support in the form of advice and guidance, but also access to an extensive network of experts, mentors and resources to successfully implement their ideas and achieve a lasting impact.
