On 17 August from 12:00 to 16:00, we cordially invite you to the Ideengarage, our special community event under the motto “Summer, Sun, Social Entrepreneurship“.
The Ideengarage is aimed at people who are socially, creatively and sustainably committed and want to network with like-minded people and anyone with inspiring visions.
We create space for your inventive spirit and want to move from thinking to doing together. How can we contribute to a better future with our own projects? What role do the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) play in this? Let’s work together to create work with meaning and social benefit and save the world!

12:00 pm – Start
12:15 – Arrival & welcome: Presentation of the Gründungsgarage Chemnitz and the event agenda.
12:30-12:45 – Founder talk: Our scholarship holders share their progress and experiences.
13:00-13:30 – Idea-speed-dating: Find the perfect match for your next project.
13:45-14:45 – Ideas Sprint: Let your creativity run wild in our mini-hackathon.
15:00-15:30 – Garage moments: Cheer me up! Get valuable tips and insights from experienced founders. Among others with Dr Martin Böhringer – co-founder and CEO of Staffbase.
15:40 – Farewell: Outlook for the next steps and a big thank you to all participants.
12:30-16:00 – Founders’ stands: This year’s scholarship holders present their start-up ideas. Participation is welcome.
12:00-16:00 – Children’s garage: Here your little inventors can let off steam with various activities while you network with others. Summer fun is guaranteed with popcorn, soap bubbles, face painting, tattoos and painting with glitter. You can take a break with your little ones in a special area if you need to.
The feel-good factor is not neglected either. Cool drinks, delicious food and snacks await you.
Join us and experience an exciting afternoon full of dialogue, new ideas and shared visions. Let’s make the world a better place together!

Notes: Access to the event is barrier-free. If you have any special needs, please do not hesitate to let us know. We will do our utmost to support you. You can reach the venue via tram line 5 (Moritzhof stop). A limited number of parking spaces are available.
Film and sound recordings as well as photos will be made at the event and you agree to their later use by attending the event.
