Brief description:
Sustainable, sustainability or sustainable development are terms and phrases that come up frequently today…but what does it actually mean? And more importantly, what does it have to do with each individual person?
Sustainability basically means an intergenerational understanding of the resource scarcity of our finite world and encourages the conscious use of natural and man-made resources. Sustainability wants to prevent that future generations of humans, animals and nature have to suffer from the decisions and behaviours of mankind.
Each person on this earth perceives the use of resources differently. Social bottlenecks and challenges are interpreted differently. The personal perspective determines one’s own possibilities of implementation.
The interactive workshop “Experience Sustainability” is about perceiving yourself and your fellow human beings in the context of sustainability. You will deal with the topic by getting to know different circumstances and ways of living, looking at your own situation and developing starting points for a more sustainable life and work. The goal is to increase your awareness of global perspectives and to identify personal steps to contribute to sustainable development.
Participation is free of charge. The workshop will be held in German. The rooms are barrier-free. If you have any wishes or needs for your participation in the workshop, please let us know when you register.
